Council requests that a requirement for some type of sprinkling system <br />be included in the contract to see that the landscaping is properly taken <br />care of. <br /> <br />Mr. Kvanbeck - James Refrigeration - Informed Council that the dental <br />clinic to the north is not willing to have a joint access driveway with <br />the superette. <br /> <br />Albert Alberts Summarized history of verbal agreement to joint access <br />driveway between James Refrigeration and the dental clinic. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox - Council would have no problem with recommending to James <br />I~frigeration that they construct their driveway exactly adjacent to that <br />of the dental clinic. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox, seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg, to allow <br />,James Refrigeration to construct a driveway into their place of business <br />adjacent to that of the dental clinic and that some type of sprinkling <br />system be included in the landscape plan. Further, that the driveway <br />and sprinkling system be included in the contract between the City of <br />Ramsey and James Refrigeration. Further Discussion: City Attorney <br />Goodrich inquired as to whether or not he should explore the possibility <br />of removal of the temporary driveway into the dental clinic. Councilmember <br />Cox - see no reason to do so. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec arrived at 8:17 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, Sorteberg and <br />Reimann. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />amend the contract to include provisions for a sprinkling system and a <br />driveway and to approve the contract as submitted to the City Council. <br />Further to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign said <br />contract for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, Sorteberg <br />and Reimann. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />3) Reduction of Special Assessment, Case of Larry Ferber, 17501 Baugh <br /> Street, Regarding Improvement Project #80-15: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to adopt Resolution #81-163, a Resolution approving of deleting Mr. Ferber's, <br />17051 Buagh Street, unit assessment from one (1) unit to half (~) unit <br />for Improvement Project #80-15. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #81-163.) Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox - Didn't we <br />adopt this Resolution at the last Council Meeting? Mr. Schnelle No, it <br />was inadvertenly deleted from the Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Cox, Reimann, Sorteberg and <br />Van Wagner, Mayor Gamec.
