Councilmember RESOLUTION INSURANCE ADJUSTMENTS introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #16-01-026 TO RATIFY THE BUDGETED 2016 NON-UNION HEALTH CONTRIBUTIONS AND NON-UNION COST OF LIVING WHEREAS, the 2016 approved City budget accounts for the non-union health insurance contributions listed below; and WHEREAS, the non-union health insurance contributions listed below are the same amounts that were previously approved for all other employee groups, including AFSCME, LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants, as per the respective union contracts; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends authorizing the non-union city health insurance contributions as follows; and Health Plan Tier (Per Month) City Contribution to Premium City Contribution to *VEBA Total Monthly City Contribution Single Plans Blue Print Network -$4000 Deduct. All other single plans $763.00 $827.00 $194.00 $130.00 $957.00 $957.00 Employee + Spouse Plans $1007.00 $160.00 $1,167.00 Employee + Children Plans $1,091.00 $160.00 $1,251.00 Family Plans $1,166.00 $192.00 $1,358.00 * The above listed City VEBA contribution includes a $4.30 per month VEBA administration fee WHEREAS, the 2016 approved City budget accounts for the non-union cost of living adjustment; and WHEREAS, the non-union cost of living adjustment is the same percentage that was approved previously for all other employee groups, including AFSCME, LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants as per the respective union contracts; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends increasing the non-union wage scale by two percent (2%) for a cost of living adjustment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, Motion to adopt resolution # 16-01-026 to do the following: 1) Authorize the non-union City health insurance contributions as listed below:
