Bruce Westby
November 17, 2015
Page 3
3. Landscaping. The north side of our lot has considerable landscaping and
decorative curbing near the road. Both were installed outside of the road
easement. It is our desire that the landscaping and curbing remain untouched
during the road reconstruction project and we request that the City provide us
instructions on how to best identify the location of these items to ensure they are
not damaged during the project.
4. Concrete Driveway. Our existing driveway is constructed of concrete and
includes a wider apron at the road to allow for easy entry and egress without
diving on the grass. We understand that during the reconstruction project, some of
the existing driveway may need to be removed and replaced to account for the
new road location and grade. We request that when the driveway is repaired,
concrete materials are used as to not disrupt the look and feel of the existing
driveway and that a wider driveway apron is used at the road.
Finally, as a tax -paying property on Andrie Street we question why the entire Northfork
neighborhood is being consulted for this project. While we appreciate the input of those
who do not live on this road, we are the homeowners who will be paying for the road
improvements. At some point, we expect that these meetings will be closed to those not
living on Andrie Street or 164' Lane NW.
In closing, we would like this letter entered into the public record and used to help guide
the development and planning of the Andrie Street reconstruction project. If you have any
questions or require any additional information regarding the contents of this letter,
please contact us at your convenience.
Regards,
David and Mary Tincher
