Page 8 <br />Regular Council <br />January 29, 1979 <br /> <br />GATEWAY NORTH SITE STUDY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Muller to accept the <br />engineer's report on the Gateway North Industrial Airport Site Study <br />Resolution #79-7. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />It was the general concensus of the Council the Economic Development <br />Committee study the report and report back to the Council. <br /> <br />ANOKA-HENNEPIN SCHOOL DISTRICT #11 POSSIBLE USE OF CITY HALL <br /> <br />It was reported the School District is very interested in utilizing the <br />rooms downstairs in the City Hall for classrooms. It was noted there would <br />be several items that would have to be completed to bring them up to the <br />State Code and the School District was advised to hire an architect to <br />draw up their plans. <br /> <br />BOND REQUIREMENTS FOR MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Muller to delete the <br />$2,000 bond requirement for the Motor Vehicle Sales Repair and Rental license <br />required by Chapter 130.19 Section 130.0110 of the City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None, Councilman Reimann Abstained~ <br /> <br />SETTER, LEACH & LINSTROM ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERS, INC~ BILL <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to write Setter <br />Leach & Lindstrom Architect and Engineers, Inc. stating we are holding up pay- <br />ment in the amount of $2,576.76 without mileage, until the repair of the <br />boiler system has been made and upon completing other repairs to the building <br />and upon a reviewal of the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF SCENIC AND WILD RIVER ORDINANCE IN REGARDS TO THE RUM RIVER <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to have the City <br />Staff, City Attorney and Mayor Gamec review and put into a language a layman <br />can understand and return to the Council for their review. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />LEGISLATION REGARDING STATE LOCAL AID TO CITIES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to move into a <br />lawsuit against the State of Minnesota to secure equality in the distribution <br />of local aids to the Cities of the State of Minnesota, instructing the attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
