Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt ordi- <br />nance 79-2 which is an ordinance adding the following language to chapter <br />10.02 Planning Commission of the City Code: <br /> <br />Commissioners may resign voluntarily or may be removed from <br />office by a majority vote of the City Council. Three con- <br />secutive unexcused absences from duly called commission meetings <br />shall constitute automatic resignation from office. Vacancies <br />in the commission are to be filled by City Council appointment <br />with a majority vote. <br /> <br />Motion carried[~ Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> <br />Councilman Cox reported what has occurred on this application to date. He <br />stated a letter had been received from Bernie Steffan stating he would do the <br />ground work in applying for the grant for a cost of $35.00 per hour and <br />had figured to take approximately 15 hours to complete the work. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox stated a committed consisting of Mr. Ron Jereck, Mr. Kenneth <br />Peterson, Mr. Dennis Donovan, Mr. Marc Hadley, Mr. Jack Peterson and Mayor <br />Tom Gamec had met on this. It was felt they would like to place this facility <br />on Highway #47 across from the old City Hall. The building would be built in <br />the side of the hill and have solar heat. <br /> <br /> <br />
