CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on February 26, 1979 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. Present: Mayor Gamec Also Present: Councilman Reimann Counailman Mickelson Councilman Cox City Administrator Schnelle City Attorney Goodrich City Engineer Raatikka Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting to order at 9:38 P.M. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the agenda with the following addition: - Request for lots County Road #7 and State Highway #47 Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. CITIZEN INPUT Mr. Jim Gilbertsen, 17930 Ermine Blvd. N.W. stated that last November two off-sale liquor licenses were granted and to date no construction has started or permit been pulled. It was the general concensus of the Council to send Ms. Vera McGregor a letter notifying her the 90 days are up and she will be placed on the agenda March 12, 1979 to discuss her off-sale liquor license. It was noted that Loren Leininger and Gary Martinson have been in contact with City staff on their proposed liquor store. Mr. Ben Deemer asked that there be some stiff language in the City Code in re- gards to the Park Fee. Feels that we should remedy this in the Urban Area in particular. In regards to Ms. Vera McGregor it was suggested we either change the ordinance or she should get her license in 90 days or else forfeit the license. LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS Mayor Gamec announced that we had received notice of the annual Anoka Electric Cooperative meeting to be held at the Anoka Senior High School on March 3, 1979 at 10:00 A.M. It was noted the Sheriff's Department presented the City of Ramsey with a summons in regards to the Faith Baptist Church. It is a suit in regards to the denial of
