Page 4 Regular Council March 26~ 1979 Concern was expressed on the three driveway approaches. It was explained they were for: 1) egress and ingress to parking lot 2) egress and ingress to loading dock 3) egress and ingress to building A discussion on the end of the driveways followed in regards to the avoid- ing of them running together at the street. Councilman Reimann expressed concerned on the dry wells for the proposed building. He thought they should be inspected once a year. He also sug- gested more greenery. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to enter into a development contract with the site plans as reviewed and upon the follow- ing: 1) Allowing a 6-foot overhang facing Tungsten Street 2) Greenery as indicated on the plans with Maple trees placed where the Lombardy popple was indicated 3) 8-foot high redwood fencing 4) Greenery as indicated on the plans in regards to sod around the exterior of building 5) Concrete or b~a~ktop curb to assure structural separation of the driveway egress and ingress and green areas 6) Performance bond or like document to assure completion of the landscaping as required and its continued maintenance for two years 7) The building is to be painted with earth tones or soft tone 8) M~-A~gu~t--~-Gr~satei~ will be responsible for placement of dry wells as shov~ and their maintenance 9) All items are to be in conformance with the plans as presented and said plans bearing a date of March 22, 1979. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. ACQUISITION OF LAND FROM MR. ART ANDERSON Mr. Art Anderson appeared before the Council in regards to dedicating 80 feet of his property for a road easement at no cost to the City for the land for extension of 171st from Bison to Zeolite Street N.W. However, the City Attorney stated Mr. Anderson wanted to subdivide this parcel of land into 2 lots if he granted this road easement. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson in regards to subdividing Mr. Anderson's land that he should meet with City Staff and proceed in accordance with City ordinances governing the subdivision of land.
