Page 4 <br />Regular Council <br />March 26~ 1979 <br /> <br />Concern was expressed on the three driveway approaches. It was explained <br />they were for: <br /> <br />1) egress and ingress to parking lot <br />2) egress and ingress to loading dock <br />3) egress and ingress to building <br /> <br />A discussion on the end of the driveways followed in regards to the avoid- <br />ing of them running together at the street. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann expressed concerned on the dry wells for the proposed <br />building. He thought they should be inspected once a year. He also sug- <br />gested more greenery. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to enter into <br />a development contract with the site plans as reviewed and upon the follow- <br />ing: <br /> <br />1) Allowing a 6-foot overhang facing Tungsten Street <br />2) Greenery as indicated on the plans with Maple trees placed <br /> where the Lombardy popple was indicated <br />3) 8-foot high redwood fencing <br />4) Greenery as indicated on the plans in regards to sod around <br /> the exterior of building <br />5) Concrete or b~a~ktop curb to assure structural separation <br /> of the driveway egress and ingress and green areas <br />6) Performance bond or like document to assure completion of <br /> the landscaping as required and its continued maintenance <br /> for two years <br />7) The building is to be painted with earth tones or soft tone <br /> <br />8) M~-A~gu~t--~-Gr~satei~ will be responsible for placement <br /> of dry wells as shov~ and their maintenance <br />9) All items are to be in conformance with the plans as presented <br /> and said plans bearing a date of March 22, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and <br />Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />ACQUISITION OF LAND FROM MR. ART ANDERSON <br /> <br />Mr. Art Anderson appeared before the Council in regards to dedicating 80 <br />feet of his property for a road easement at no cost to the City for the <br />land for extension of 171st from Bison to Zeolite Street N.W. However, <br />the City Attorney stated Mr. Anderson wanted to subdivide this parcel of <br />land into 2 lots if he granted this road easement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson in regards <br />to subdividing Mr. Anderson's land that he should meet with City Staff <br />and proceed in accordance with City ordinances governing the subdivision <br />of land. <br /> <br /> <br />
