Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Cox to execute the "Memorandum <br />of Agreement" contingent on the City Attorney approval and authorizing the Mayor to <br />sign. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />RON WEST REGARDING PROPOSED ADDITION TO KOVAR MANUFACTURING <br /> <br />Mr. West appeared before Council to explain the request. He stated that this is <br />a temporary building fop Kovar Manufacturing and they intend to relocate in the future. <br />He presented plans and asked for permission to construct a steel building with <br />stucco columns at equidistant spacing around the building landscaped with shrubbery. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the construction <br />of a metal building finished as shown on plans presented by Ron West, Contractor, <br />with landscaping and stucco columns as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR RUM RIVER CROSSING <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt Resolution <br />No. 79-41 Supporting the Federal Aid Urban Designation of this Proposed Route. <br /> <br />Council asked that the County be encouraged to obtain right of way on Industrial <br />Boulevard from Highway 47 to Sunfish Lake Boulevard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />EDA GRANT <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle presented price quotes for Council's review for utilization <br />of excess EDA monies available to spend on alternates originally omitted from the <br />Project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann to authorize the use of <br />appproximately $5600 remaining EDA funds to upgrade and blacktop the driveway at <br />the municipal center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PONDVALE ESTATES PRELIMINARY PLAT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox to grant preliminary plat approval for Pondvale Estates <br />providing he meets all engineering requirements, recommendations of the P & Z <br />Commission and all other requirements of the ordinance. In lieu of an excavation <br />ordinance a performance bond will be required, in case something should happen <br />that the developer is unable to continue the project that will provide for the <br />land to be restored to prevent erosion, before any moving of dirt on the lots. <br /> <br /> <br />
