PAGE i2 <br />MAY 29, 1979 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />ANOKA HENNEPIN SCHOOL DISTRICT #11 REQUEST FOR SCHOOL BUS <br /> <br />Mr. McClosky, Director of Pupil Transportation, District #11 <br />had submitted a letter requesting a school bus turn around on 160th Lane N.W. <br />City staff reviewed the situation and recommended that it be left as is. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to accept the staff's recommendation and leave it as it is. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR HIRING PERSON FOR JANITOR IN CITY HALL <br /> <br />Due to termination of the CETA program funding for this position, Council <br />took the following action. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann t o hire Russell Berger <br />to continue working at the rate of $2.90 per hour as janitor for the City Hall. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 79-5 FOR COUNCIL REVIEW AND ADOPTION <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimannand seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt Ordinance 79-5 <br />entitled "Amendment ot Chapter 170.01 which is Known as the Zoning Chapter of <br />the City of Ramsey, Minnesota". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg.
