l) Lots 1 - 11, Block 6 deficient to meeting the 2~ acre requirement of the <br /> City Code.. <br />2) Lot 12, Block 6, deficient in meeting the minimum width requirement of the <br /> City Code. <br />3) Variance to Article 170.038H of the City Code, requiring evaluation of the <br /> plat by Ramsey Plumbing Inspector. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the <br />final plat of Barthel's Rum River 2nd Addition with the understanding that the 100 <br />foot scenic easement as agreed by the developer will be included in this plat <br />on all lots adjoining the river; and, contingent on the plat meeting the requirements <br />of the City Engineer's report dated June 11, 1979, noting that Page 1, Item 3, <br />land not suitable for on-site sewage disposal will require fill to make them <br />buildable, and will have deed restrictions so indicating. (Building inspector <br />to be made aware of this also). Page 2, Item 3, Ascertain whether the streets will <br />line up correspondingly as named with other portions of said streets and subject <br />City Attorney review. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka to review the alignment of 162rd Avenue to see if it is proper <br />as indicated on the plat. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />URBAN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR LEE'S LANDSCAPING AND NURSERY <br /> <br />Mr. Crawley appeared before coUncil stating his proposal to operate a retail <br />nursery outlet. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann noted that Mr. Crawley would have to add a greenhouse to <br />his proposed building to meet the necessary square foot requirements. He <br />asked what type of greenhouse it would be. <br /> <br />Mr. Crawley said he has not determined for sure, but that it might be glass and that <br />the cost factor would mean a lot. He will be putting in a concrete slab and maybe <br />a poly-type greenhouse temporarily. He plans on having bedding plants and <br />hanging plants, a year around operation and some gifts. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann informed him that he would have to add the greenhouse now <br />in order to meet the City's requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Crawley agreed to do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to grant an Urban <br />Development Permit to Mr. Lee Crawley for Lee's Landscaping and Nursery located <br />at 146XX Nowthen Boulevard with the understanding or agreement that he go <br />along with the Planning and Zoning recommendations and have them spelled out in the <br />contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
