Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and
Sortebe rg. Voting no: None.

Mr. Browning states he buys cars and sells cars once in a while to help him out
with his income.

Mayor Gamec informed him that because of the zoning complaints that the City
has received that he must clean it up. He informed him that he could build
an accessory building for a non-commercial activity, but that he has to come
in and apply for a home occupancy permit if he is conducting a business
activity in a residential area.

Mr. Browning asked what about his neighbor who is doing work at his residence.

Mayor Gamec said the City would have to receive a complaint on it, that the
City is not necessarily going to go out and look for these problems but if
it is something that is causing debris etc., that affects health, welfare or
safety of citizens, then the Council has to take action to protect the general
well being of the citizens.

Mr. Browning asked about adding onto his garage.

Mayor Gamec informed him that he could make an application for an addition and that
he could not have any outside storage or junk automobiles.

Councilman Sorteberg added that he cannot repair vehicles without a home
occupation permit.

JOHN L. CHRISTIENSON REQUESTING AN EXTENSION OF A MOBILE HOME PERMIT

Mr. Christenson's home burned in Feburary 1979; Council granted a permit for
him to park a mobile home on his property while he constructed a new home. The permit
expired on May 31, 1979, and he is now progressing with the new house construction.

Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to grant
a renewal permit for Mr. Christenson to park the mobile home on his property
until 8/31/79, because he was delayed in completing construction of his home
due to weather conditions and the building inspector reports that he is now
progressing with the construction.

Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann
and Sorteberg. Voting no: None.

BARTHEL'S 2ND ADDITION FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL

Mayor Gamec reported that Councilman Sorteberg had made a comment at the 4/19/79
meeting that to change this plat to meet ordinance requirements doesn't make too
much difference on the lot sizes if you take the calculation of the road into
consideration.

Engineer Raatikka reviewed his report regarding this plat.

Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to grant variances
on the following as per City Engineer's Report dated 6/11/79:

-5-
Regular City Council Meeting
6/11/79
