Absent: Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY 'TRANSFER 'FRCIM GENERAL 'FUND 'TO 'BROOk"VIEW <br />CoNSTR-UCTION PUND '(PROJECT '79-1)-~IN "THE :~40~7~3F-'-$218i'-644,96 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimmm and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to authorize <br />the temporary transfer of $48,644.94 from the General Fund to the Brookview <br />Construction Fund. Further, the General Fund will be reimbursed the $48,644.94 <br />by October i, 1979, and will be paid interest at the going rate for the <br />period of time the money is on loan to the Brookview Construction Fund. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. Absent: Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />REQUEST AUTHORIZATION TO TRANSFER $21,850.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO <br />EQUIPMENT REVOLVING FUND ($16,650 IS ESTABLISHED IN THE 1979 BUDGET <br />FOR TRANSFER TO THE EQUIFM~ REVOLVING FUND AND $5,200 IS TO BE <br />TRANSFERRED FROM THE GENERAL FUND SURPLUS TO THE EQUIPMENT REVOLVING FUND <br />AS THIS AMOUNT HAS BEEN SET UP IN THE 1978 budget' as depreciation for <br />equipment replacement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />transfer $21,850 from the General Fund to the Equipment ReVOlving Fund. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ON TRAFFIC 'STUDY <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution 79-50 ReqUesting the State of Minnesota' to do a Traffic Study. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received a request from the Ramsey City Police <br />Department on the establishment of a speed zone On 155rd Avenue N.W. <br />between the line of Highway 47 and Roanoke Street NW <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />MINNESOTA <br /> <br />It is requested the Minnesota Highway Department conduct a traffic study for the <br />purpose of establishing a speed zone in the above Stated area. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
