ZUNI STREET EAS~IENT <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Koshak was present representing Flintwood Hills Development and <br />Carson Itomes. He said he feels this street has no benefit to the plat and it <br />would be constructing something entirely outside the plat, and further, that this <br />is an inappropriate time to construct this street. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox explained to him that their's is the only development in this <br />area that will use this street. <br /> <br />It was consensus of the Council to give this land back to the developer and <br />the cost of the road to be borne by Carson Homes. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING VACATING STRIP OF LAND IN FLINTWOOD II <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to set a public <br />hearing for September 24, 1979 at 7:45 P.M., for the purpose of vacating a strip <br />of land described as follows: The East 20 ft. of the W 930 ft. lying SLY of <br />the N 481.82 ft. and lying NLY of the centerline of Industry Avenue of the <br />NBP4 of the N~4 of Sec. 36, Tnsp 32, Rng 25, Anoka County, MN said distances being <br />measured parallel with the N and W line of said NEh of the N~4, in Fiintwood <br />Hills Plat II. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes' Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich is to comment on his findings regarding the drainage ditch <br />after the meeting with the Anoka County Attorney regarding the same. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEWBUSINESS <br /> <br />CONDITIONAL USE 'PERMIT FOR PRIVATE KENNEL: CASE OF JACK MC CARTHY <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec read the agreement on the conditional use permit to be considered. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to issue a <br />Conditional Use Permit to Mr. & Mrs. Jack McCarthy under the conditions set <br />forth in the agreement executed this date and on file at the City office and <br />authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to simon on behalf of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONT~TG REQUEST SUBDIVISION'ORDINANCE'BE'/C4ENDED~IN~REGARDS TO LOT <br />SIZE CALCU'LAT]~)N--g <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to amend the <br />ordinance as requested by the Planning and Zoning Commission that lots 2½ <br />acres or larger in the Transition and Rural Areas will include the road area <br />in lot calculation excluding County roads, and to schedule a public hearing <br />for the purpose of amending this ordinance to be held on September 24, 1979, <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br /> September 10, 1979 <br /> Page 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
