Mayor Gamec stated that this is the first project the City has
had where a major development is coming out onto an improved street.

Mr. Albrecht asked how he can appeal this matter.

Attorney Goodrich explained that he has 30 days to file a summons
and complaint with the 10th District Court.

Engineer Raatikka pointed out that this provides Mr. Albrechts
addition with a second access for emergency purposes also.

Mr. Albrecht said he feels it was the City's mistake in the first
place to let development go in there.

Mayor Gamec said the City cannot stop development.

Bob Borne, 8427 164th Circle, asked about getting "Children at
Play" signs.

Mayor Gamec explained that the Street Department is in the process
of doing a study on sign needs.

Councilman Cox said the City had to upgrade 16ist with Class V due
to the pressure on that road from the development back there and
the people constantly requested the road to be upgraded. He noted
that any action to withhold or delay the assessment could result
in additional interest being assessed in the next year.

Mr. Albrecht added that he still feels it is unfair.

Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to
adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson,
Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None.

Hearing closed at 7:20 P.M.
....
