PUBLIC HEARING OF SEPTEMBER 24, 1979 (REGARDING BROOKVIEW ESTATES) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the minutes of the public hearing held on 9/24/79 regarding Brookview <br />Estates with the notati6n that Mr. and Mrs. Schwab were present at the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND CO~4ISSIONS <br /> <br />The minutes of the City Boards and Commissions were received and acknowledged <br />as presented. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND CO)~ICATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec made note that the City has received an extension on Certifying <br />the budget from the Department of Revenue. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox noted that the Highway Department has temporarily installed <br />a survey tower on Highway 47 to take some surveys on the road. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle reported on a meeting that was held with <br />the Mayors from the City of Anoka and Elk River and Don Greenberg <br />regarding improvement of the Airport. Anoka may have an interest <br />in this project and Elk River is to report back to the City on the matter. <br /> <br />The Fire Committee is holding a dinner meeting at Greenhaven on November 1st. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />ADOPTING RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT ASSESSM~ ROLLS FORT HE CONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECTS BROOKVI~W BSTATESSTREET~IMPROVE~J~T PROJECT: <br />Discussion was held regarding'the BolducJand Schwab parcels. <br /> <br />Regarding Outlot A, property of Bolduc, the question is whether it <br />benefits the house the way it sits now. <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg questioned how the cost would be picked up if <br />the Bolduc property was assessed for one unit instead of two. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said that there is a contingency built into the project to <br />cover for such a situation, it would be paid out of the remainder in the <br />escrow fund. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox asked if Mr. Bolduc would be agreeable to paying for <br />].½ of the assessment.
