Voting no: None. <br /> <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAILER DEPOSIT ~FOR JOHN CHRISTENSEN <br /> <br />Pursuant to a memo from the City accountant stating the trailer has been <br />removed from Mr. Christensen's property at 15220 Waco and the fire call of <br />$570.00 was paid, the following motion was made. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reiamnn and seconded by Councilman Cox to refund <br />the $300.00 deposit to Mr. Christensen. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />BARTHEL'S RUM RIVER SECOND ADDITION REQUEST 'FOR EXTENSION ON FILING OF PLAT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has discussed this matter with Barthels and <br />that they have to have the plat filed by Friday, October 12, 1979, or <br />start the platting procedure over again. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to grant a <br />variance to Barthel Homes such that they must record their final plat <br />known as Barthel's Rum River Second Addition by Friday, October 12, 1979 <br />by a variance to Section 170.010C of the City Code. If this variance <br />is not complied with by the date stated, this plat request will be null <br />and void. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />BERG OIL REGARDING REVIEWOF PROPOSED'SITE ANDBUILDINGDESIGN PLAN FOR <br /> <br />Ron West presented the proposal for the addition of a building at the <br />Berg Oil site, He said the building will be usedto store Berg Oil's <br />bulk oil trucks; for light repairs and washing the trucks down once or <br />twice a week. The building will be 40 X 60 feet , 2400 square feet in <br />the northwest corner of the property <br /> <br />Councilman Cox commented regarding taking right of way for a service road <br />and noted that the o'il storage tanks are located' along the rear of the <br />property and that it is not feasible to take a right of way on this property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve <br />the final site plan and building design for Berg Oil and authorize the <br />City to enter into a contract with Berg Oil and the Mayor and City Administrator <br />to sign the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
