CARSON HOMES REQUESTING PERMISSION TO 'MOVE MODULAR HOME INTO COUNTRYSIDE <br /> <br />ESTATES <br /> <br />Mr. Carson appeared before the Council with this request and stated that <br />he plans to have the house moved and finished within two weeks. He is <br />putting a full basement under it. It has three bedroom and a double garage <br />and will conform to State specifications and code requirements. It is <br />1,040 square feet. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to grant <br />permission for Mr. Carson of Carson Homes to move into Countryside Estates <br />a modular home and enter into a contract with the City that he will have <br />the home complete and ready for occupancy within 60 days. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Reimann, Mickelson <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />FLINTWOOD I DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Carson reported that he hopes to put in a storm sewer to resolve <br />the drainage problems of Flintwood I and II additions. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked that he keep the City informed on what is occurring. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson asked that he be given an extension of time on completion of <br />Flintwood Hills I for the storm drainage problem. <br /> <br />~tion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson that Mr. <br />Carson be given an extension on Flintwood Hills I completion in order <br />to resolve the drainage problem and that Mr. Carson will guarantee that <br />the bond will continue in effect until that time. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK REQUEST FOR DELAY IN BITUMINOUS SURFACING <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council is that the blacktopping must be done in accordance <br />with the contract, the extension request is denied and staff is to send <br />Mr. Greenberg notifying him of the denial of extension. <br /> <br />WHISPERING PINES IV <br /> <br />The staff is to send a letter to Carson Homes informing them that this <br />plat must be complete by October 31st or the Council shall exercise the <br />rights to proceed under the terms of the contract and bond and the City <br />will complete the necessary work. <br /> <br />ED KLEMISHADDITION <br /> <br />This plat will be reviewed in the Spring of 1980 and a-decision as to <br />how to proceed for completion and restoration of the roads will be made <br />at that time. <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting - October 9, 1979 <br /> Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
