Council tabled any action on the street petitions at this time. <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT on Certain Improvements <br /> <br />The City Engineer completed the feasibility study report on Sports Haven Addition, <br />Golden Eagle Estates and Carol Rose Acres for tarvia surfacing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt Resolution <br />No. 79-85 calling for a public hearing on the project for January 29, 1980, at <br />7:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich to draft the ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT 990 FOOT GUYED ANTENNA TOWER AT HAMEL, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle reported on a letter from the MN Dept. of Transportation-- <br />Aeronautic Section dated 11/27/79 which states the proposed antenna would have a <br />definite affect on Ramsey's present airport. Any objections must be entered by <br />December 16, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox seconded by Councilman Mickelson to forward a resolution <br />to the FFA objecting to the construction of this tower. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />EMERGENCY HOUSING SHELTER DESIGNATION OF; <br /> <br />Anoka County request that the City designate an emergency housing shelter to <br />provide life-saving assistance to temporarily displaced residents. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to designate <br />City Hall as an emergency Shelter. <br /> <br />Motion carted. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle reviewed the Personnel Standards and Procedures. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to accept <br />the Personnel Standards and Procedures as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg.
