Regular Meeting 1/10/77 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Reimann to grant an on-sale liquor license to McGregor <br />Inc. provided all sections of Ordinance 75-7 are met, with license being issued <br />upon completion of building as per all proposed plans and specifications and <br />certificate of occupancy given by building inspector and contingent upon review of <br />insurance and bonds by City of Ramsey attorney. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Gorham to grant McGregor Inc., a Sunday liquor <br />license provided all sections of Ordinance 75-7 are met, with license being <br />issued upon completion of building as per all proposed plans and specifications and <br />certificate of occupancy given by building inspector and contingent upon review of <br />insurance and bonds by City of Ramsey attorney. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Muller to grant a Conditional Use Permit to McGregor <br />Inc., for three retail stores as recommended by Planning & Zoning Commission, 1/3/77. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />b. Variance request of Dennis Temple. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission rejected the variance request of Mr. Temple. <br />Councilman Gotham read the reasons listed in the P & Z minutes of January 3rd. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the City engineer's recommendation concerning the Temple variance <br />request. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to grant a variance to Mr. Dennis Temple <br />to subdivide by metes and bounds the 33 acres of land described as: NE¼ of <br />Section 8, Township 32, Range 25. Reason: It is the best use of the land and <br />any subdivision or platting of this land is virtually not feasible. <br /> <br />Councilman Gorham amended the motion to include a $100 park fee to be paid by <br />Mr. Temple. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />c. Variance request of Reinhold Peltzer. <br /> <br />Discussion took place. Mr. Peltzer wants to transfer two acres of his 170 acres <br />to Mr. Larry Millness, who presently owns eight acres, thereby enable>n§ Mr. Millness <br />to have a ten acre parcel. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to grant a variance to Hr. Reinhold Peltzer <br />to subdivide his land to add two acres to the eight acres presently owned by <br />Larry Millness, giving Mr. Millness a total of ten acres; further, that no building <br />permits are to be issued to Mr. Millness for the two acre parcel he is acquiring <br />from Mr. Peltzer. Land is described as follows: SE 1/4 of NE 1/4, Sec. 28, T32, R 25 <br />and the S 835 of E 417' of SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 28, T32, R 25, as measured <br />along the E & S lines thereof. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br /> <br />d. Variance request of Ed Klemish: <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Muller to grant a variance to Ed Klemish to take 25 feet <br />from Lot 3, Block 3, Klemish Addition and add it to Lot 2, Block 3, Klemish Addition to <br />alleviate the problem of side .yard requirements fromne house to the edge of the lot. <br /> Carried 5 Ayes <br />e. Park Department Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Cushman presented copies of the Comp. Park Plan to the Council. <br />Mayor Cox asked Mr. Nereson to obtain reproduced Park maps for P & z and Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
