Humphre~ <br />expressing his best wishes on the construction of the new City Hall. <br /> <br />Letter from North Central Public Service on increase in natural <br />gas rates. <br />(7:55 p.m., Councilman Gorham arrived) <br /> <br />A letter is to be sent to Cor~nissioner Fields reflecting on recent <br />accomplishments in the City of Ramsey and Anoka County, and expressing <br />that the Rum River Bridge crossing is among future priority pro.~ects <br />and ~roposing a meeting with ~r. Fields in the near future to <br />re-establish thought processes and priority ranking for this project. <br />~r. Nereson read the proposed letter. <br /> <br />?avor Cox ~resented the following corresoondence: <br /> <br />A letter from ~artin Gotham stating that he aopreciates the iniative <br />that the Council took to go ahead and get the funding for the City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Letter from Dennis Temple thanking Council for the variance granted <br />him at the last Council meeting. <br /> <br />Letter on a testimonial dinner to be given on January 18, 1977, <br />for the former Mayor of Andover, Richard Snyder and former Council- <br />man, Winslow Holasek. Persons interested in attending are to call <br />for reservations. <br /> <br />Letter from Bob Hansel, Ramsev Police, on a crime watch meeting to <br />be held on 2/1/77, from 7 - 9 o.m., at Ramsey Elementary School. <br />Mayor Cox urged citizens to te%l their neighbors of the meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br />Building Department/Assessing Deoartment Report read by Mr. Nereson <br />and noted. <br /> <br />Street Deoartment Reoort read by ~.~r. Nereson and noted. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson read the Police Deoartment Reoort and the 1976 Ramsey <br />Police yearly reoort. <br /> <br />Park & Recreation Commission minutes were read bv Mr. Nereson. <br />The new hours of ooeration for the warming house were noted. <br />Also, that the warming house will be closed if the temperature <br />is 15 degrees below or colder. The next meeting of P & R is <br />2/21/77. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, Seconded by Councilman ~uller to <br />exten~ the warming house hours as stated in the P & R minutes and <br />pay warming house attendants for additional hours they work. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
