Oliohant discussed. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said he is not in favor of paying her for Nov. & Dec. mtgs. missed <br />Goodrich recommended the payment of salary minus '$5 fine. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson said he sees a lot of important things coming and does <br />not see the need to boggle Council's table with this issue. It <br />is not good from a business management standpoint. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said he would agree with that if it weren't for the thousands <br />of dollars spent and people have had to sit here 'and listen to <br />her wizardry and he feels the people in the community have a right to <br />know what type of character they supported and followed down into <br />the deep water. If she sues, he will gladly take his own time to <br />defend the City. <br /> <br />Councilman Gorham said he agrees with Mr. Nereson, that a decision <br />should be made and put it behind us and forget it. He feels she <br />should be paid minus the fine for the meetings she missed. <br /> <br />Councilman b~ller agrees with Mr. Nereson and Councilman Gorham and <br />feels she should be paid. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, Seconded by Councilman ~ickelson to <br />table-the bill for paying Mrs. Oliphanto <br /> <br />Councilman Gorham said he feels this is a wrong move, it should <br />be taken care of tonight either to pay or not. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson withdrew his Second. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann withdrew the Motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, Seconded by Councilman Mickelson not <br />to pay Mrs. Oli~hant for the Nov. & Dec. meetings missed. <br /> 3 Ayes <br /> Gotham Naye <br /> Muller Naye <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />School bus stopping on Highway 10. <br />Mr. Nereson reported the Collins Drive turn around right of way was <br />measured in comparison to the one on Bowers Drive. It was decided <br />there is enough right of way to turn around without buying additional <br />land. <br /> <br />Fire Contract, City of Anoka <br />Mayor Cox asked if the attorney has reviewed the contract. <br />Mr. Nereson replied no. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson, Seconded by Councilman Muller to <br />approve the fire contract with the City of Anoka contingent upon <br />City Attorney approval. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />A public hearing has been set to request a conditional use permit <br />for City Hall for 2/7/77, Planning & Zoning Commission at 7:00 o.m. <br />He said the proper notices and mailing will be taken Care of. <br /> <br /> <br />
