Regular Meeting
April 25, 1977
Page 7

hatred in a community. Mayor Cox said he does not have ~he complete findings
of fact from P & Z drawn up so he would not like to see a decision made yet
until the D. ndings of fact could be reviewed.

Mayor Cox told Mr. Van Odegaard that time has been expressed to them and they
knew sooner or later something had to happen. In view of this, he thinks 10
days is unreasonable and 90 days is a bit long.

Mayor Cox asked if the findings of fact could be drawn up for a special
meeting by next Monday if a special meeting be called. Attorney Goodrich
said they could.

It is the consensus of the Council to set the time tentatively for Jul~ 1,
which means the Van Odegaar~s would have to comply with the city dog and
kennel ordinance by July 1, 1977, and a meeting was established for May 5
for the Council to adopt findings of fact relative to the Van Odegaard
kennel application.

Attorney Goodrich wanted everyone to be sure to understand that nothing,--
is definite yet, but this is probably whatwill happen.

Shenk,- authorize road signing (Industry Blvd.s)

Mr. Nereson reported to the Council that the Planning Commission bald a
public hearing on a re-zoning request from Sherwin Shenk and that no
action was taken. Mr. Shenk was advised by the Planning Commission to
devise an overall development plan prior to further action.

Klemish vacation of easement

MOTION by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to allow Marvel Klemish to vacate
an easement for Lots 2 & 3, Block 3, Klemish Addn., and that a new
easement run following the new lot lines as prescribed in the certificate,
ten feet within the lot line.

Sherwin Shenk~ Co. ~83 Cattle crossin~

Mr. Sherwin Shenk has requested a cattle crossing at County Road 83 and
future Industry Blvd. A report from the County Highway Dept. will be
forwarded to Mayor Cox for review.

5 Ayes

Sattelites at parks

Mayor Cox said no decision had to be made now.
if there is much demand for them.

He suggested waiting to see

Park Plan

MOTION by Mickelson, Seconded by Muller to adopt Resolution 35 which was
adopting City of Ramsey's comprehensive park plan dated March, 1977.
$ Ayes
Gorham Naye
REASONt Mr. Gorham voted naye because even though it was not necessary
to have a public hearing to pass it, he felt one Should be held
anyway.
