Regular ~J~eeting <br />May 23, 1977 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Street Report <br /> <br />The Street Report was read by Mr. Nereson. <br /> <br />Pa___r~ Report <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider presented the Park Report. <br /> <br />It was decided by the Park Department not to sell the property that it had <br />considered selling at an earlier date. Mr. Nerson was instructed to write <br />a letter to the interested party that the City has decided not to sell. <br /> <br />John Zobava commented that there were no sattelites up. It was decided <br />a sattelite would be put up at the school. <br /> <br />$-M wants to plant trees in Brookview Park, and it was met with approval <br />by the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson will check with the school, Bob Muller and Mr. Springer regarding <br />a city plan regarding ball fields. <br /> <br />Police Report <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson said that he did not get a report, but will get one out to the <br />Council in the mail. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Tr~ffig~Cq~t~ol l~54th Land and 153rd Lanep ~n~ pos~ibl~ 176th. <br /> <br />~r. Nereson reviewed the traffic situation with the Council. He presented <br />a recommendation that he had prepared. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Nickelson to pass Resolution ~38 authorizing <br />a ',yield,' sign to be placed at the intersection of 154th Lane and Zirconium <br />Street N.W.~ and a "yield" sign and "bline intersection' sign be placed at <br />the intersection of 153rd Lane and Xenon Street N.W., so as to insure safer <br />traffic flow in said areas. 3 Ayes <br /> <br />Mayor Cox referred 176th east of Baugh to the Police Department for possible <br />speeding control. ~ <br /> <br />Dr. Anderson - set back on Lot 3, Block 3, White ~ines Estates <br /> <br />Discussion was held, but no action was taken regarding this situation until <br />P & Z minutes and the engineer's report are reviewed by the Council. <br /> <br />Resolution ~37, setting fee for septic tank permit <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson, to accept Resolution ~37 increasing <br />the septic tank fees from $10.00 to $15.00 and that includes installation and/ <br />or repair of septic tanks. 3 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
