Regular Meeting <br />May 23, 1977 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked how Mr. Wolfe advertises and he was told that he advertises <br />in the Anoka Shopper. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich said that if this is a commercial use the ordinance can be <br />enforced the way it is even without it being classified a home occupation. <br /> <br />Another resident of the neighborhood made the comment that they are zoned <br />residential only and was wondering if they could get a speed limit sign <br />on the street. Mayor Cox explained that under State law all residential <br />areas are thirty mile speed limits. <br /> <br />The Council advised City Administrator Nereson to follow the ordinance to <br />the letter as far as Mr. Wolfe is concerned. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />gay 9, 1977, Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />NOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson, to approve the minutes of the <br />Board of Adjustment of May 9, 1977. <br /> <br />3 Ayes <br /> <br />~a~ 9r 1977, Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann, to approve the minutes with the <br />following correction -- Page 2, Paragraph 5, correct spelling of name of <br />Bud Redapenuy; Page 3, under Old Business, add that it was also the consensus <br />of the Council that the price was not in line with the market values~ <br /> 3 Ayes <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read a letter from Councilman Gorham in which he submitted his <br />resignation effective as of June 1, 1977. Mayor Cox said that it was with <br />great regret that he read this letter as he feels that Councilm~n Gotham 'has <br />done an outstanding job in serving his community so very well. <br /> <br />NOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson, to accept the resignation of Gary <br />Gotham with very deep regret as he did a great job and has been a joy to <br />work with for the past two and one half years. 3 Ayes <br /> <br />Mayor Cox mentioned that he did not see anything in the paper regarding actions <br />from the last council meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />BuildingReport <br /> <br />The Building Report was read by LesterWirz. <br />He said regarding the assessment report, the 1977 assessing is completed. <br /> <br /> <br />
