Regular Meeting <br />June 27, 1977 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read a letter from EdFields who wrote to inform the Council that the <br />wood disposal operation would soon be operational. It also gave the disposal <br />sights opening dates. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read a letter from NorthCentral Public Service Company. It corrected <br />a paragraph in a previous letter regarding the reduction in rates. <br /> <br />It was announced that Planning and Zoning will hold a public ~earing Thursday, <br />June 30, 1977, at 7:30 P.M. at the Ramsey Elementary School to review the Urban <br />District Study. <br /> <br />N~J BUSINGS <br /> <br />Council Appointment. <br /> <br />EOTION by Muller, seconded by Mickelson to nominate Tom Gamec to the position <br />of City Councilman. <br /> <br />Mickelson withdrew his second and Muller withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />NOTION by ~{~uller, seconded, by Micketson to appoint Tom Gamec to fill the vacancy <br />created by the resignation of Councilman Gary G orham and the term is to be that <br />of Councilman Gorham's and the term is to be effective July 15, 1977. 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Gary Saunders, American Thermcell. Request to park a mobile home to be used as an <br />office. <br /> <br />Gary Saunders is presently operating out of the mobile hom~ was contacted and <br />informed that he was in violation of an ordinance. ~e explained that the reason <br />for the mobile home is it is necessary for the office to be outside of the plant <br />as he needs a quality control area as well as an office. The noise level inside <br />the plant does not permit him to have his office inside. Ne intends to build a <br />new buildlnE as soon as the lease on the present building is up and wants the <br />mobile home only until that time. He hopes to start building his new building <br />by September 1. <br /> <br />NOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann, to grant a ninety-day permit beginning <br />today, June 27, 1977, to park a mobile home for office and security reasons and <br />to expire on September 27, 1977. 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Odegaard, Dog Kennel. <br /> <br />A motion was passed at a previous meeting saying the dogs are to be moved by <br />July 1st. Attorney Goodrich said that the motion saying they be gone by July 1 <br />should be put into effect. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Recommendations. <br /> <br />Or. Thomas Anderson - request to have setback changed. <br /> <br />NOTION by Reimann to leave the setback as it now is. <br /> <br />Motion died. <br /> <br /> <br />
