Nereson suggested financing this by selling short term bonds and paying them <br />back with I~'~SA funds. Engineer Raatikka said that the City did not have to tell <br />the State what they intend to do with the fumds until they plan to use <br />]~t is the consensus of the Council to withhold funds at this time. <br /> <br />School I,and Acquisition <br /> <br />Fayor Cox asked Mr. ~ereson to check into just what land is for sale here adjacent <br />to the school and if the city is interested in being involved in it. Nayor Cox <br />ask~$ Councilman ~uller to lead a committee of himself, Mr. Nereson and a member <br />of the Park Department to get this information. <br /> <br />5. TS. tternd Park Plan <br /> <br />Comment was made that the T~terud Property is consistent with the Comprehensive <br />Plan and does have good possible use. Councilman ~uller said that he had_ talked <br />to Fr. Tittered and that Mr. Tttterud is anxious for some decision to be ~ade as <br />he does have some other people interest~ in it. <br /> <br />~!OTIOM by ~ickelson, seconded by Reimann to purchase the land from Mr. Titterud <br />with terms and agreements as were agreed to as follows: Purchase price $][5,000.005 <br />~i~,000.00 by December 31, 1977, $6,000.00 in the first quarter of 1978, ~6,000.00 in <br />the first quarter of 1979. No interest would, be charged under this pay schedule. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />6. Odegaard Dogs <br /> <br />A restraining order was obtained on August 5 which the Odegaards agreed to. <br />1'!o dogs were allowed on the two primary lots and no more than 15 dogs on the <br />40 acres they purchased. Attorney Goodrich said things had been pretty good <br />umtil the past weekend when Nr. lforely called him and complained about the <br />dogs. The police went out and counted 15 dogs. I,~r.Morely wants to start a <br />private lawsuit. Attorney Goodrich said the next step would be contempt of <br />court because they have a nuisance there with the dogs. <br /> <br />~,~E~/ BUS IN~i$S <br /> <br />1.
