They were discussed and tabled. ~..r. <br />I';ereson and Councilman Reimann will further review it. <br /> <br /> b. Exposed duct <br /> <br />i~,ayor Cox expressed his displeasure with the exposed duct work an5. wants <br />a ~eeting set up with ~,'r. Boatman and other representatives from Setter, <br />Ieacb and Iin~strom. ~:r. Nereson reported that ~!r. Boarman is workin{~< <br />on an enclosure plan and price estimates at this time. <br /> <br />3. Appointment of Accounting Position <br /> <br />~, r. ~ereson reviewed the memo he sent to the Council regarding the <br />accounting position left open by Sue Thompson's resignation. <br /> <br />MOTION by Yuller, seconded by Reimann to appoint .~,!s, Jeannette I'(oen to <br />a six-month probationary employment status for the Senior Accounting <br />Clerk position at the rate of $4.30 per hour. <br /> <br />Ayes <br /> <br />REPORTS: <br /> <br />The Council had received copies of the various reports and had reviewed them. <br />~.,r, Yereson exp'la~ned that a Police Report had not yet been received from <br />?r, Auspos but as soon as he received it, it would be mailed out. <br /> <br />Assessing Report: <br /> <br />It is the consensus of the Council that in order for ~/r. Werz to retain <br />employment with the City that he become a certified building inspector. <br />The ['ersonnel Committee planned to meet the next day, Tuesday, and will <br />report back to the Council on his status. <br /> <br />Street Re~o.,r'~: <br /> <br />City's snow removal operation was discussed. <br /> <br />A dmini s ?,rat or ' s R e~ort: <br /> <br />Ani~al Control Contract - !.~ro Nereson expla~.ned that the boarding fee <br />goin~ from $2.00 a day to $.2.50 a day. Ramsey's contract with Blaine ?idway <br />calls for boarding seven days, but the ordinance says five days. To eom- <br />pensate for the extra fifty cents a day, it was suggested to go by the <br />ord'~nance and pay for boarding animals for five days instead of seven days. <br /> <br />Attorney's Report: <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich said that the Nelson [Lawsuit will be tried in January. <br /> <br /> <br />
