The note also <br />said that Congressman Oberstar will be turning on the lights of the national <br />Christmas tree this year. <br /> <br />3~:r. !':~ereson announced that the open house for the new City Hall has been set <br />for t~riday, January 6, at 3:00 ?.¥. to ?:00 ~'.?:. Congressman Oberstar wi][][ <br />be present at the Open House at about 4:00 P.I. Coffee and cake wil][ be <br />served. I:ayor Cox said that it should be reported in the paper or Br~oka <br />Shopper that everyone is welcome. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />~(le~ish Addition street improvements <br /> <br />I"r, klemish was not present at this time. The Cooncil discussed the situation <br />and ~,'ayor Cox said that a letter should be sent to Mr. Klemish saying that the <br />City concurs with the Engineer's Report about the street. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. ~lamsey ~'unicipal Center punch list <br /> <br />~."r..~':ereson said that there will be a final inspection on Friday with the <br />engineer. Ue said that he and Clayton Berg did their own inspection an8 <br />punch list on Thursday and results were very favorable. ~-e said they got <br />concurrance from the contractor on all of the items that were on the punch <br />list and that many have been corrected at this time. Bn inspection of the <br />roof was set for Wednesday. }re said that the City is not held responsible <br />in any way for any of the items on the list and will not accept responsibility <br />for the building until those items are completed. <br /> <br />?ayor Cox su~gested that kr. Nereson should check into some of the different <br />water softening services and find out the costs. I.~!r. I,[ereson said that if it <br />gets into more than just a typical softening system he will check back with <br />the Council, <br /> <br /> <br />
