WINDOW COVERING BIDS <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Muller to authorize Adm. Nereson <br />to purchase window coverings for $846.00 from Modern Window Shade <br />for eight offices in the new municipal building as per their bid. <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEEREPORT <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson read a memo from the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Muller to accept the Personnel <br />Committee recommendation and the recommendation of the City Administrator! <br />as noted in the memo dated 2/27/78 regarding the February 15, 1978 <br />personnel committee meeting. 4 Ayes <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />Ail Department reports were received and noted. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson requested permission to send Mr. Berg and Mr. Wirz <br />to a two-day basic training seminar for building officials. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Muller to authorize Mr. Berg and <br />Mr. Wirz to attend the seminar. <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding the CETA program. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox directed that a letter of objection to the CETA program <br />be sent to Commissioner Fields and Congressman Oberstar. <br /> <br />ATTORNEY GOODRICH REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich announced the trial notice for the lawsuit - <br />Nelson vs Cox, Reimann, Gorham and Mickelson. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox announced that he is starting a lawsuit - CoX vs Oliphant. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR APPROVAL <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to approve the bills totaling <br />$29,551.73 for the month of February 1978. 4 Ayes <br /> <br />MAYOR & COI~CIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann asked about grates for the maintenance building <br />windows. Mr. Nereson said Mr. Mevissen is going to install the old <br />grates from the old city hall. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann requested a sign be hung on Council Chambers to <br />read "NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS". <br /> <br /> <br />
