ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Gooch"ioh said that he received notice last Friday that the Nelson <br />vs Cox case is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on April 5. He said he <br />would like to have a meeting tomorrow at 5~ O0 with the Council and would <br />like to ask Gary Gotham and Bernie Stephan to come also. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR. APPROVAL, <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconde4 by Mickelson to pay the bills for March <br />totaling $ 52,813.38. <br /> <br />Ayes <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson had attended the 5~etro Waste Control Commission <br />hearing and reported that they are organizing the committies for the <br />alternative waste management study. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to appoint Robert Walz to the Park <br />and Recreation Board. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to appoint Kevin Welter to the <br />Park and Recreation Board. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson was directed to send a letter to Mr. Ed Shay who was resigning <br />from the Police Reserve Unit to express Ramsey's appreciation. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson asked if anything could be done about not allowing <br />any motorized .gehicles in the Titterud Park. <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, seconded by Reimann to 'officially recognize the recently <br />acquired park between County Road ~6 and Jasper Streets as the Titterud Park. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Mayor Cox said that he saved the worst for the last and brought up the <br />resignation of Phil Nereson as City Administrator. He told Mr. Nereson <br />that he Has done a good Job and is sad to see him leave, but is happy to <br />see him go on to something that may be better for him. He said that Ramsey <br />will miss him and he and the Personnel Committee should get to~ether and <br />discuss alternative routes to take as far as finding a replacement as soon <br />as possible. <br /> <br />NOTION by Muller, seconded by Garnet to accept the resignation cf Phil Nereson. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller to adjourn. 5 Ayes <br />Adjournment 12~38 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Phil D.
