Counci I 4/10/78 Page 9 2 Licenses for Approval MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to approve the following licenses: 78-104 78-108 78-113 78-105 78-109 78-114 78-102 78-110 78-115 78-106 78-111 78-116 78-107 78-112 78-81 3 Petition on Menkveld Septic Tank The City Council acknowledged receipt of a petition of concerned citi- zens in the area of 149th and County Road 56 regarding an unsitely and unsafe metal package sewage treatment plant. MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to inform Mr. Menkveld that the package treatment plant will have to be removed from the subject premises within 30 days in response to the concerns of the petitioners. 5 Ayes 4. Personnel Committee Recommendations The Personnel Committee had a meeting and recommended to move Clayton Berg up to the Administrative Assistant Position with the same pay he is making now. The Committee also recommended the completion of Licensing Clerk Sheila Beyer's probation. She will receive fulltime status. It was also announced that Arlene Peddycoart, Administrative Secretary, is resigning effective May 30, 1978 and a replacement for her position is now being advertised. MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Reimann to accept the Personnel Committees recommendation subject to Mr. Berg accepting the position of Administrative Assistant. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Mr. Nereson said that the off sale liquor license ordinance is in draft- ing in Attorney Goodrich's office and he will have it at the next meeting. Mr. Nereson said he had a request from the Police Department if it would be all right for them to purchase gas from the Mobile Station as well as from Berg Oil. The Council said it was okay.
