Council 5-8-78 (~) <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Muller to grant a variance subject to variance <br />fees and Section 1700310C of the subdivision chapters of the Co~e and permit <br />the final plat of High Point to be recorded on or before August 14, 1978. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />d. Fred Armstrong Variance Request forSub~ivision of Land <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Gamec to grant a variance to Fred Armstrong <br />from the subdivision ordinance to allow him to subdivide by metes and bounds that part <br />of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Sec. 17- 32- 25 lying N of County ROad 83 from a 40 acre <br />parcel, to build a dwelling. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />5. Relocation of pon~ at sanita_ry land fill <br /> <br />After general discussion, it was decided to table this issue~until the next meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Mickelson to write a letter saying Ramsey concurs <br />with the Anoka County Health Department and the Engineer's report. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />6. Personnel Committee Recommendations <br /> <br />Some of the decisions or suggestions of the PersOnnel Committee are as follows: <br /> <br />Clayton Berg will attend the Planning and Zoning meetings. The Police Department <br />is to see that the building is open for Council meetings. Coffee at the meetings <br />is to be eliminated. Jean Moon is to approve bills before presented to the Council. <br />Arlene Peddycoart is to be in charge of the girls working in the office. Clayton <br />Berg is to be in charge of the men in the office and the Building Department. <br />Each additional meeting that comes up will be discussed and decided on who will <br />attend on behalf of City Hall. Compensation for staff to perform additional <br />duties will be ~~-~~layton Berg will handle zoning complaints. <br />Permanent status was ~6~mTme~f~ed for Lester Wirz at the same rate of pay as <br />present. The school is furnishing a person for janitorial duties at a rate of pay <br />of $2.50 a day for three days a week paid by the school. Elaine Wilkens resigned. <br />Arlene Peddycoart is having difficulty locating voting judges for the upcoming <br />electi~ and Councilman Reimann said someone should be obtained to help her in <br />making phone calls. Some of these items are temporary until a new city administrator <br />is hired. <br />MOTION by ~seconded by ~'t~o accept the recommendations of the <br />Personnel Committee. ~ 1 Aye <br /> · . " 4 0 posed <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann~ seconded by Mickelson to accept the recommendations of the <br />Personnel Committee, with the exception of putting Lester Wirz on permanent <br />status. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Nickelson, seconded by Gamec to accept the Personal Committee's <br />job description for a temporary zoning official. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
