Licenses for Approval MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Muller toapprove the licenses for approval as follows: 78-117, 78-118, 78-119, 78-120, 78-121, 78-122, 78-123, 78-124, 78-125, 78-126, 78-127, 78-128, 78-130, 78-132, 78-133. License 78-131 is to be ommitted until it is checked out by the zoning official. 5 Ayes 8. Purchase of Lawn Mower MOTION .by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to purchase a 21 inch Guardian Power Drive Toro lawn mower with grass catcher from Freeberg's, not to exceed $255.00. 5 Ayes MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to purchase a broom, not to exceed $800.00 from Long Lake Tractor. 5 Ayes 9. Park and Recreation Recommendations The Park Board requested from the Council three ball diamonds and the necessary grading. It was decided to get a cost figure~ frqm the City Engineer. ADMINISTROATOR 'S REPORT MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Muller directing Attorney Goodrich to write a letter to MWCC saying that the City of Ramsey opposses channeling of grant funds into waste water treatment facilities instead of into interceptor facil- ities~ Z~ ~o/ ~~ ~ ~~ 5 Ayes Attorney Goodrich said that the Police Department would like to purchase bullet proof vests for the officers at a cost of $134.00 each. There was discussion as to how they would be purchased if decided on. Attorney Goodrich said the Department of Housing and Urban Development has written a letter indicating that Ramsey needs to update its flood plane ordinances. He was directed to refer it to the City Engineer. MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to execute the financing statement and security agreement with Valley Equipment Company with regard to purchase of the road grader. 5 Ayes MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to adjourn. 5 Ayes Adjournment 1:45 A.M.
