Council Meeting 5/22/78 -3- <br /> <br />-- cost estimates <br />-- type of facility <br />-- appointment of a committee to work on proposal <br />-- cost of full time park supervisor, which would be needed <br /> if a facility of this type were to be constructed <br />-- funding to operate the facility once it is constructed <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council to contact the P & R Commission <br />regarding the possibility of such a venture and advise them to <br />advertise or whatever to see if there is public interest in pursuing <br />a project of this type. <br /> <br />Metropolitan ~.ouncil - CAB Interceptor <br /> <br />Mr. Lee Starr and Mr. James Barton of the Metropolitan Council were <br />present to discuss the CAB Interceptor status with the Council. <br />Items Ramsey has to provide them with now are: <br /> <br />City should provide documentation etc., regarding the second <br />Ramsey connection as per Metro Council memo dated 5/22/78° <br />Also, more timing information for the 1990 Urban Area. <br /> <br />Old Business <br /> <br />Intoxicating Off-Sale Liquor Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to adopt Ordinance 78-2 <br />~¥~taining to intoxicating off-sale liquor sales. 4 Aye~ <br /> Gamec Nay~ <br /> <br />Motion by Cox, seconded by Muller that applications for off-sale <br />'int'oxicating liquor will be accepted from 7-1-78 to 8-1-78. <br /> <br />5 Aye~ <br /> <br />Persons who have made previous applications are to be notified of <br />this decision in writing. <br /> <br />Resolution 78-8 <br /> <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann to adopt Resolution <br />'gs'tasiishing fees for investigating applicants who request an <br />intoxicating off-sale liquor license. <br /> <br />Motion by Cox. seconded by Muller that of appli~a%ioms~ submitted <br />5~tweeh ~/1/78 to 8/1/78, for intoxicating off-sale liquor oales <br />only two (2) licenses will be granted. ' ..... <br /> <br />Street Paving Petition (Azurite, Y~rium, 160th Avenue area) <br /> <br />Discussion held. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that a second petition, drafted <br />by Attorney Goodrich, noting construction costs, etc., should be <br />circulated among affected property ov~ers to be signed and returned <br />for Council to review before ordering a feasibility study and public <br />hearing on paving of these streets. <br /> <br />5 Aye~ <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
