NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Review Administrator Position <br /> <br />Special Meeting (Council) 6/6/78 <br /> Page 3 <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann reviewed the persons the Personnel Committee has interviewed. <br />The consensus of the Council is to interview Mr. Schnelle on Friday, June 9, 1978 <br />at 12:00 Noon if possible or Saturday Noon, alternate. <br /> <br />2. Assessor Status <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding the salary to be paid to Lester Wirz, Assessor. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Reimann to place Lester <br />Wirz on permanent employment status with an annual salary of $15,500, effective <br />June 1, 1978. <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz salary to be reviewed again at budget time. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg requested permission to change the City's payroll schedule from semi~ <br />monthly to hi-weekly. The consensus of the Council is that this request be <br />granted. <br /> <br />3. Preliminary Plat Approval, Ramsey 67 Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka read his report regarding the preliminary plat of Ramsey 67 <br />Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Eggum reviewed his plat for the Council. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on installation of paved roads. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Gamec to accept the <br />preliminary plat of Ramsey 67 Industrial Park as per Planning & Zoning <br />recommendations and the City Engineer's report and that the grading of Tungsten <br />Street from 139th Avenue N.W. to Industry Avenue be required before building <br />permits are issued; and the streets in the plat be blacktopped to City specifi- <br />cations when one-half (1/2) of the lots in the plat are either sold or developed. <br /> 4 Ayes <br />4. Flood Insurance Study <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt the Dept. <br />of Housing and Urban Development program for flood insurance so that persons <br />in the City of Ramseymay he protected if they should ever experience a flood <br />disaster. <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />1. Gerald Bauer, (Burns Plat) <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann commented that there is concern that the present top soil <br />road will not support additional traffic that will be created by development <br />of this plat. The people in the area that this will affect should have something <br />to say about the road situation. <br /> <br /> <br />
