Special Meeting (Council) 6/6/78 <br /> Page 4 <br /> <br />Street Superintendent Mevissen commented that the existing road was not <br />designed to handle a heavy traffic load. <br /> <br />It is the consensus of the Council that a letter be written asking for a <br />maintenance agreement or that the road be brought up to specifications to <br />handle the traffic load. Mr. Berg is to contact a Planning & Zoning <br />member to go to the public hearing on this plat and present the letter <br />from Ramsey. <br /> <br />2. Cost per copy of Xerox Copy Machine <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council is to direct the City staff to charge 25~ Der copy <br />for any copies sold and for any requests for copies of ordinances, etc. <br />Persons requesting such copies shall be instructed to pay in advance and <br />pick up the copies at the city hall. No copies will be made ahead of time <br />or mailed out. <br /> <br />3. Complaint on Blaine-Midway Ail Pets <br /> <br />Mr. Berg reported that the City received a complaint on the facility for <br />keeping dogs at Blaine Midway Ail Pets, the City's dog catcher. <br /> <br />Council directed Mr. Berg to ask Blaine Midway for a report detailing their <br />side of the story. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann reported on the Tri-City Fire Committee meeting and on the <br />fire truck he viewed at Columbia Heights. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Gamec to bid $110 on the <br />fire truck which is for sale from the City of Columbia Heights. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg announced that Jerry Melberg's temporary mobile home permit expired. <br /> <br />Council directed this matter to be turned over to Attorney Goodrich for legal <br />action that should be taken regarding the removal of the mobile home. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg informed the Council of the status of N & N Auto Body zoning violation. <br /> <br />Council directed that Mr. Berg contact Attorney Goodrich and tell him to make <br />a decision on these zoning matters and to submit an answer to the Council. <br />And, if there is an issue which could result in a liability to the City, the <br />Council should be informed of such and these matters should not be started <br />and left in a pending situation. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning requests. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Cox, seconded by Councilman Gamec to pay the Planning & Zoning <br />members $12 each to those members in attendance at Planning & Zoning meetings2 <br />including special meetings. <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
