Page 6 <br />Council meeting <br />August 28, 1978 <br /> <br />Motion by Gary Reimann and seconded by Bob Muller, due to the nature of <br />Mr. Werz problem and the close proximity of his buying his one (1) acre <br />lot located at 16960 Bison Street and with the change in the subdivision <br />ordinance as covered in paragraph 170.0312A subparagraph a, Council felt <br />the individual had a hardship. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF STREET; CASE OF MAGNESIUM STREET <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka read his August 17 report on the study of the <br />street and outlined the requirements before it should be accepted by the <br />City. They are as listed below: <br /> <br />1) The landowners dedicate a 66 foot wide street easement over the <br />entire length of the street and a 130 feet diameter easement at the <br />north end of the street for a cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />2) Ail areas that have settled or broken up be repaired. <br /> <br />3) A culvert be placed across the street at the low point to provide <br />drainage to parcel 670. <br /> <br />4) A 100 foot diameter cul-de-sac be constructed on the north end of <br />the street in accordance with the City's current street standards <br />with drainage directed to the existing pond. <br /> <br />Mr. Craig Willey was present and represented the landowners of the area. <br />He stated there should be no dollar liability to the landowners as Norm <br />Holm has agreed to accept the expenses of the legal and engineering fees. <br />He has also agreed to do any upkeep and patching of the street, and do the <br />construction of a turn around. <br /> <br />Motion by Gary Reimann and seconded by Dave Mickelson to enter into a con- <br />struction bond contract with Norm Holm for Magnesium Street. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />RESIGNATION OF ARLENE PEDDYCOART AND REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Bob Muller and seconded by Gary Reimann to accept the resignation <br />of Arlene Peddycoart effective July 31, 1978. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />The concensus of the Council on a replacement for Ms. Peddycoart is to make <br />a decision on the Personnel Committee recommendations. <br /> <br /> <br />
