Page 5 <br />Council meeting <br />August 28, 1978 <br /> <br />3 ayes <br />Dave Mickelson opposed <br /> <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO MANUFACTURE AND SALES OPERATION IN UR ZONING <br /> <br />(URBAN AREA) <br /> <br />Mr. Phillip Kerssen was present and discussed his request for a conditional <br />use permit to manufacture trailers and a sales operation in a UR zone at his <br />home located at 14765 Nowthen Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion by Bob Muller and seconded by Gary Reimann to grant a temporary condi- <br />tional use permit for 90 days to Phillip Kerssen effective from date of this <br />Council meeting to manufacture and operate a sales operation at his residence <br />located at 14765 Nowthen Blvd. as' covered in Planning Commission minutes <br />dated August 7, 1978. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Further, that Mr. Kerssen would petition for rezoning from UR to UMB zoning. <br /> <br />CARSON HOMES, INC. REQUEST OF DEFERMENT ~F PLANTING' DF. TREES ON EAST SIDE <br />OF BORDER OF FLINTWOOD HILLS SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />Carson Homes made a request to delay planting of trees on the east side of <br />Flintwood Hills subdivision due to the fact they are contemplating develop- <br />ing the property to the east. It was the general concensus of the Council <br />to have Carson Homes proceed with the planting unless he can come in with <br />alternate plans. <br /> <br />ANOKA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT RE. QUEStING 3.2 BEER LICENSE AND BINGO PERMIT <br /> <br />Motion by Dave Mickelson and seconded by Gary Reimann to grant a 3.2 beer <br />license to the Anoka Volunteer Fire Department for September 10, 1978 from <br />12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Dave Mickelson and seconded by Gary Reimann to grant the Anoka <br />Volunteer Fire Department a bingo permit on September 10, 1978 from 10:00 <br />a.m. to 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />4 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />VARIANCE FROM SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE; CASE OF ALEX WERZ <br /> <br />Mr. Werz explained to the Council that he purchased a lot containing one <br />(1) acre located at 16960 Bison Street in August, 1972 with the understanding <br />by both the seller and his attorney (who represented both the buyer and the <br />seller) that this was a buildable lot. It wasn't known to him at any time <br />until recently when he went to sell that it wasn't a buildable lot. <br /> <br /> <br />
