Page 3
Council Meeting
September 11, 1978

1) Grading $12,000
2) Ag Lime $ 2,000
3) Top Soil $4.00 or $5.00/cu. yard

The total estimated project is about $16,000. Being that the estimated
cost is greater than $10,000 we would need to advertise for bids.

It was stated that the projeqt could be paid out of funds allocated in the
school budget. Now the Park Department has a figure to work with they can
get back with the school officials and prepare some final plans as they
could do nothing before receiving an estimated cost figure. Dennis
Donovan was advised to go back to the School District to find out what
their participation in this capital improvement would be. Mr. Donovan
asked if he had to come back to the Council for their approval and he was
told that he would as they wanted to know what portion the school would
pay and the portion the City was to pay.

Mr. Bill Easley, a citizen from the audience asked what percentage of
Ramsey would this facility serve.

He was told it would be hard to monitor as at present it serves only the
elementary school and Ramsey only has the one school.

Mr. Easley was concerned whether the useage would be supported by other
communities who would use it.

He was told it is supported by the school district.

Kathy ~chneider said it would be a facility used by anyone as our children
are using the Anoka fields also.

RAMSEY 47 INDUSTRIAL PLAT

Mr. Mary Eggum was present with his revised plan which will be known now
as Ramsey 67 Industrial Park 1st Addition. The Park fee for this portion
is $1,120.00 which is for only Block 1 Lot 1, 2, 3.

Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Muller to grant
the following variances concerning the proposed Ramsey 67 Industrial Park
1st Addition.

1. That Outlot B may be platted so a lot of 1.1 acres in size, the
reason being that this property will be owned by the property owner to
the east and is intended to become a part of that property and that
this lot may not be sold as an individual parcel~

2. That Lots 1 and 3 Block 1 shall be allowed direct access onto
Sunfish Lake Blvd., as there is no other public access to serve these
proposed lots.

5 ayes
Motion carried
