COUNCIL IIEETING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on September 25, 1978 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd., N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Cox at 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Councilman Reimanm <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Gamec <br />CouncilmsmMickelson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br /> <br />Mayor Cox led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />ANOKA-HENNEPIN SCHOOL DISTRICT 11 JOINT POWERS AGREEI~NT FOR COI~MUNITY <br /> <br />EDUCATION; REVISION OF <br /> <br />Mr. Marc Hadley and Mr. Jim Stewart of the Community School were present <br />and discussed the 1979 Budget for Community Education with the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Stewart explained the increase in the budget for 1979 is due to an in- <br />crease in the supplementary budget which amounts to $400.00. The total <br />cost to the City will be $15,630.00. Mr. Stewart also explained that next <br />year the Community Education program would be totally fomded by the City. <br /> <br />There was some concern expressed on the use of the playground at Ramsey <br />Elementary for activities in the summer. The heaviest use is for soccer <br />in the fall and spring and baseball in the summer. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the agenda with the following additions and deletion: <br /> <br />1) Deletion - State Bank of Anoka <br />2) Addition - Phillip Kerssen <br />3) Addition - Traprock Commons Restrictive Covenants <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mrs. Roger Dickenson asked what 12½ acres would benefit from the street <br />improvement for Tungsten and Rivlyn. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka told her it would be both sides of Rivlyn. <br /> <br />Mrs. Roger Dickenson stated we don't have a drainage problem. She said <br />there is no ditch along the north side and that Roger had built a dyke <br />to prevent them from being flooded out. <br /> <br /> <br />
