Regular Council <br />Page 3 <br />October 23, 1978 <br /> <br />somewhat unique, the Council feels that prior to moving such a building <br />into a neighborhood, compatabilitywith the neighborhood should be shown <br />by the applicant and reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson and Councilman Gamec. Voting no None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF APPLICATIONS FOR ACCESSORY BUILDINGS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />the building permit application for Mr. Richard McCoy for a 24 x 24 <br />storage building to house a boat, lawn equipment and one horse. That <br />Mr. McCoy is to build said storage building to be compatible with the <br />neighboring homes and is to place on the lot so as not to hinder future <br />subdivision of the lot. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson and Councilman Gamec. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to approve <br />the building permit application for Mr. Larry Ferber for a 26 x 32 storage <br />building for housing personal items. That Mr. Ferber is to construct said <br />building to be same as the principal structure. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes CouncilmanMuller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson and Councilman Gamec. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to approve <br />the building permit application for Mr. Steve Holmer for a 12 x 16 storage <br />building for housing one horse and for storage of personal items. That <br />Mr. Holmer is to construct said building similar to principal structure. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson and Councilman Gamec. Voting no None. <br /> <br />FRED ARMSTRONG'S REZONING REQUEST <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann that because <br />the City Attorney has advised the Council that legally it is essential to <br />formally amend the City's Comprehensive Plan prior to adoption of an amend- <br />ment to the Zoning Ordinance transferring the subject property from the <br />Rural Service Area to the Transitional Area, I, therefore, move to table <br />the rezoning request until the staff has presented an amendment to the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan which amendment will permit the rezoning as <br />requested and staff is further instructured to prepare this item for <br />Council's final action on November 13, 1978. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson and Councilman Gamec. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to return <br />the rezoning request back to Planning and Zoning for their review in re- <br />gards to the City's Comprehensive Plan and with the idea of deleting the <br />Rural Service Area entirely. <br /> <br /> <br />
