Regular Council <br />Page ? <br />October 23~ 1978 <br /> <br />MSAS project designated as Variolite Street from 161st Avenue N.W. to <br />County Road No. 63 to be about $4,000.00. It was pointed out that to <br />take advantage of an early bidding date and favorable construction weather, <br />it would be advisable to complete the feasibility report this year, pre- <br />pare plans and obtain the necessary approvals during the winter months and <br />receive bids early next spring. It was also stated the project would be <br />done in three phases, starting tentatively at a figure of $100,000.00 and <br />upon completion be approximately $225,000.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Muller and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt <br />resolution 78-29 to order a feasibility study for the 1979 MSAS Project <br />designated as Variolite Street from 161st Avenue N.W. to County Road No. <br />63. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson, Councilman Gamec and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />AI~PROVAL ON PARTIAL PAYMENTS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />partial payment for street improvement projects #78-1, 78-2, 78-3 and <br />78-4. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson, Councilman Gamec and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />ANTI-RECESSIONARY FUND <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle stated to the Council that there is a balance <br />of $151.00 in the anti-recessionary fund and the Council should designate <br />a use of these funds so the fund can be closed by January 1, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Muller and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to have <br />the amount used to cover partial cost of the policeman overtime costs. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman ~ller, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Mickelson, Councilman Gamec and Mayor Cox.
