Regular Council <br />Page 6 <br />November 13, 1978 <br /> <br />In regards to a building permit application on the proposed plat of High <br />Point entailing the entire 40 acres it is the Council's concensus to not <br />grant the building permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to not <br />issue a building permit to Mr. Tom Holker on the proposed plat of High <br />Point as it does not comply with the City's road ordinance. However, one <br />can be issued for this at such time it does meet all the City ordinances <br />on bonding, etc. and the City will accept a letter of credit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Mickelson, Council- <br />man Reimann, Councilman Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />REZONING REQUEST OF FRED ARMSTRONG. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />the following finding of fact on the rezoning request of Fred Armstrong: <br /> <br />1. That applicant has applied to have the City's Zoning Ordinance amended <br />so as to cause his property legally described as: <br /> <br />The North half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. The South half of the Northeast <br />Quarter of Section 17, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />EXCEPT that part thereof described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at a point on the East line of the South Half of the South- <br />west Quarter of said Northeast Quarter which is 150 feet south of the <br />Northeast corner thereof; Thence South along said East line to the <br />South line of said South Half of Southwest Quarter of Northeast <br />Quarter; thence West along said South line of the West line of said <br />South Half of Southwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter; thence North <br />along said West line of the North line of said South Half of Southwest <br />Quarter of Northeast Quarter; thence East along the said North line <br />to a point that is 300 feet West of the Northeast corner of said <br />South Half of Southwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter; thence South- <br />easterly in a straight line to the point of commencement. <br /> <br />and West 30 acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter <br />of section 8, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT <br />that part thereof lying Southwesterly of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. as now <br />laid out. <br /> <br />qhat part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section <br />8, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, that lies South- <br />westerly of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. as now laid out. <br /> <br />'Fhe Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />to be located in that development area known as the Transition Area instead <br />of the Rural Service Area. <br /> <br /> <br />
