Implementation Program (includes Capital Improvement Plan) <br /> <br />Lee Starr of Metro Council said we have one of two options 1. Metro Council would review the plan then come back with how the <br /> plan meets the requirements. <br /> 2. Submit the plan as it is, formally, but it would probabl9 be returned. <br /> <br />The general concenus of the Council, Park and Recreation and Planning and <br />Zoning Commission is that we need direction, and a through review of the <br />overall plan. The Metro Council will meet with Planning and Zoning, January <br />2, 1979, and will have studied the plan and come back with outstanding <br />things and answer what is needed for necessary cri~teria. <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan, Chairman of Park and Recreation, feels we at the City of <br />Ramsey have been victims of discrimination. We are following plans and <br />guidelines, yet have been ruled ineligible for LAWCON grants. We are in <br />a situation of needing to upgrade our services, yet grants are not avail- <br />able to us. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, Seconded by Councilman Gamec to proceed with <br />more dirt for the ballfields at the cost of $3,600, which funding is avail- <br />able. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilmen Gamec, Mickelson, Reimann, Muller <br /> and Mayor Cox. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to adjourn <br />the special meeting. <br /> <br />Voting yes: Mayor Cox, Councilmen Gamec, Mickelson, Reimann, Muller. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Metting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />.¥d G.
