SYSTEM <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka of Consulting Engineers Diversified was present to <br />explain to the Council the proposed changes in the designation of M.S.A. <br />routes. Changes included the deleting of a segment of 160th Lane, the re- <br />routing of a portion in Reilley Estates and the addition of a portion on <br />153rd Avenue. <br /> <br />This will bring the City of Ramseywithin 0.10 miles of its maximum desig- <br />nation and will add 1.28 miles to the current designation. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #78-47 Establishing Municipal State Aid Highways. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #78-48 Revising Municipal State Aid Street System adding a <br />segment of 153rd Avenue to the M.S.A. designation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Muller and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt <br />Resolution #78-49 for a technical assistant agreement with the State of <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt <br />Resolution #78-50 naming the Anoka County Union as the official City news- <br />paper for the year of 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET <br /> <br />A capital improvement budget was discussed. Mayor Cox was not under the <br />impression that Variolite paving would require three years of M.S.A. <br />funds. Future M.S.A. funding potentials were discussed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle advised the Council that it may be wise to <br />bond for M.S.A. construction and encumber some of our future funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
