PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, October 6, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding request for preliminary plat <br />approval of River's Bend Plaza 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 8:11 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Frederick Stretar - 14284 Waco - Inquired as to the purpose for the new <br />addition. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris replied that the plat consists of one lot to be developed <br />commercially. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated that the lot can be developed with anything that <br />meets the zoning. <br /> <br />Lyle McLaughlin - Stated that the lot has been sold for commercial use and <br />he has not seen the buyer's site plan; assumes the site plan will be <br />submitted to Planning and Zoning at it's next meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris read the allowed uses in a B-1 Business zone. <br /> <br />Commissioner Howell suggested that the public hearing be continued to a <br />time when the developers of the lot are present with a site plan. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the ordinance requirements for <br />preliminary plat have been met; the Commission can solicit public input <br />when the site plan is submitted. <br /> <br />P & Z/Public Hearing/October 6, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
