Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Terry to
continue the public hearing until such time as a site plan is submitted.

Further Discussion: Commissioner Hendriksen inquired if all input intended
for this evening has been submitted. Mr. McLaughlin stated that the area
is zoned commercial and a developer has requested to purchase the parcel;
that developer cannot proceed with a site plan until that parcel is a lot
of record separated from the balance of that commercial property. Mr.
McLaughlin noted that the Commission and public will still have a chance
for input during final plat approval and the Commission can deny any site
plan that is undesirable. Commissioner LaDue stated that he doubts this
Commission has the authority to question the ultimate use during the
platting process as long as platting meets requirements.

Motion failed. Voting Yes: Commissioners Howell and Terry. Voting No:
Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners LaDue and Hendriksen. Absent:
Commissioner Shumway and Holm.

Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to
adjourn the public hearing.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Terry,
LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: None.
