I
I
I
I
!
I
I
I
I
I
i
I
i
I
i
i
i

FROM:
SUBJ:
DATE:

City Administrator
City Assessor
January Report
January 18, 1983

The sales ratio sheet in my report includes all the sales I received from
the CountY for the last three months. Please note on sale # 4 and #5, the
selling price is lower than my estimated market value. Sale #4 could have
been a forced sale. I think my value is a true value. Sale #5 was actually
sold in 1981 but the closing was in 1982. This happens quite often.

I have completed 90%+ of the transferring for computer use. The remaining
10% of the values will be duplicated from the 1982 values in order for the
county to get the valuation notices out in time. None of the cities had time
to transfer all these parcels and all of them will be doing the same as Ramsey.

I will be attending the Building Official Institute Jan 19, 20, 21.

I had to replace one front wh6el bearing on the '79 Olds. Greenberg's did
the work and everything works fine again.

I made several inspections this last month and completed all the new con-
struction transfers for 1982.

This concludes my report.

Submitted by,

Lester Wirz
City Assessor
