People present
at the meeting were as follows:

Paul Ruud, Anoka County Engineer
Chuck Weichselbaum, MN/DOT, District V, State Aid Engineer
Bud Redepenning,.Assistant Anoka County Engineer
Natalie Haas, County Commissioner
Ray Schultz, Assistant Anoka City Engineer
Norm Holm, N.D'.H., Inc.
Bill G. Miller, N.D.H., Inc.
Tom Gamec, Mayor of Ramsey
Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator of Ramsey
Clayton Berg, Building Official of Ramsey
Peter Raatikka, City Engineer of Ramsey

It was determined that the proposed road alignment, could provide an
alternative route to State Trunk Highway No. 47. Mr. Weichselbaum
indicated that the MN./DOT would not participate in the project and
would ultimately like to turn back S.T.H. No. 47.to the County.
The County Engineers stated that it would be hard to justify making
Thurston Avenue a county road if the state turns back S.T.H. No. 47
due to the grid spacing o£ county roads. They did, however, indicate
that chances would improve if the City of Ramsey agreed to take over
an existing county road.
