CITY OF ANOKA LAWSUIT RELATING TO THE LANDFILL <br /> <br />Pursuant to your directions~ a Summons and Complaint was prepared and served on <br />the Mayor of the City of Anoka on December 20, 1982. The documents were filed <br />with the Clerk of Court on December 29, 1982. Attached is a copy of the Summons <br />and Complaint for your review. <br /> <br />The next event which will happen in the lawsuit is for us to receive an Answer <br />from the City of Anoka. Based on that Answer, we will then make a decision as <br />to what discovery procedures, if any, will be needed. After the discovery has <br />been completed, we will then place the lawsuit on the Court Calendar for a <br />hearing. <br /> <br />I will keep you advised of all sequences as each event occurs. <br /> <br />WKG/cmh <br /> <br /> <br />
